Big Shot Breakdown

The Classic Series Big Shot was designed for punching large flies through the wind and turning over heavy tandem nymph rigs. An ideal line for targeting Bass, Salmon, Steelhead and Trout. Built a full size heavy for matching fast, modern action rods and constructed with a short compact head design. FAQ

Cleaning your fly line is very important especially when fishing saltwater. Simply pull line off your reel into a clean bucket or tub of freshwater. Put roughly 1oz or more of Cortland’s Line Cleaner solution onto a clean rag or towel. Firmly squeeze the towel with Pro Line Cleaner around the line and slowly pull line through the towel. You should be able to see dirt or discolored streaks on the towel when finished.

Casting my big flies and weighted flies

It turns over the big flies I use and also the flies with dumbbell weights.

The streamer floater!

Excellent quality line that performs above expectations. Launches larger dry flies and heavy streamers. In summer creeks, I can use this with a longer leader and drift streamers with no need for sinking line!
