Casting Character Smooth and Delicate
Developed around 2000, 444 Sylk was created to reproduce the feel and performance of traditional silk fly lines without the repeated drying, dressing, and maintenance. Its ultra thin diameter and ultra supple construction complement the slower casting tempo of bamboo, fiberglass, and classic action rods.

444 Sylk Double Taper combines that traditional casting feel with the control of a long level body. The design supports smooth roll casting, efficient mending, and delicate presentations with dry flies, wet flies, and soft hackles. Finished in the color of natural oiled silk, it provides classic line feel with the convenience of a modern floating fly line. Also available in Weight Forward.
