Casting Character Smooth and Controlled
Introduced in 1962, the 444 Series helped define the smooth, supple casting feel that generations of anglers have associated with Cortland. Peach became the familiar all purpose trout line of the series, earning its reputation through dependable durability, easy handling, and consistent performance on the water.

444 Peach Double Taper carries that classic feel into a versatile double taper design. Its long level body supports smooth roll casting, controlled mending, and easy line handling, while the ultra supple, high floating coating performs well with dry flies, nymphs, wet flies, and small streamers. Identical tapered ends also allow the line to be reversed after one end becomes worn. This line is also available in Weight Forward.
