The 333 Double Taper is a supple, high-floating fly line designed for anglers who prefer the feel and control of a traditional double taper. Its short front taper handles dry flies, nymphs, and streamers, while the symmetrical profile provides dependable line control for mending and roll casting.

The line features a braided nylon multifilament core and a high-visibility mango color that is easy to track in changing light conditions. Available in DT3F through DT6F, it is a versatile choice for trout fishing in rivers, streams, lakes, and ponds.

Sweet little 3 Wt DT

I finally got the fish the line for the first time yesterday and really liked the way it cast for small stream fishing on my 7' 3wt rod. My only suggestion would be more making it available in a more subtle color. No need for the bright almost florescent orange coloration on the small water we typically fish with 3 wt outfits.

My favorite line for soft rods

This is one of my favorite lines that I own and it has caught many of my best fish, that being bass, trout, ect...

I primarily fish this line when fishing for trout or using indicators as it can turn them over well.
I enjoy the delicate approach that is offered by this line without an indicator when presenting nymphs and wet flies. Swinging a fly is simple and the long belly allows for Spey casting a viable option aswell.

This line preforms very well with softer actions rods because it can begin a cast with less line as the thin taper at the tips can load a soft rod better than a stiff one. If you are fishing larger water where to need to mend long distances this line works great , the belly of the line being in the center allows you to pick up and mend easily.

I would say that any serious trout angler should consider this line and aswell as anyone looking to start with a little single hand spey.

Haven't used it enough yet

My small creek season hasn't really gotten going yet. I have this on a 6'0" 3wt. Cortland Classic Trout specifically for small creeks. I haven't used it more than 5 times yet. So far I like it, but I have not put in enough time with it for a thorough review.
