Cortland Master Braid - Yellow

Was introduced to master braid yellow line on a Guide trip with Travis Manson fishing Lake Ontario last year. Extremely impressed with line sensitivity and strength.

I have spooled every reel I own with Master Braid. I have had less tangles ans birds nest since switching over from other brands of braid. I color coded green for 10, blue for 15, yellow for 20 and black for 30.

Well I have alot of Smackdown that isnt going on my reels anymore...The Master Braid is solid...l spooled up 13 spinning rods last season...and have not respooled...

My clients are always amazed at how strong & sensitive 8 lb Masterbraid is when they catch our Lake Ontario smallmouth. Each trip every time they make their first cast they look at me and ask what line is this, it cast great.

I used to exclusively fish with power pro braid, but I’ve switched to Cortland. The line needs no break in. It’s very supple right out of the box. I won’t be choosing anything else. Haven’t had a single issue. 8lb braid with no leader of any kind stands up to 48 inch northern pike. Impressive for sure , which means you can always count on it against big smallmouth.

Worked perfectly

I am a guide in northern Manitoba and was a firm believer in Power Pro braid for many years until I tried the the Cortland Master Braid. It does not fray and keeps it color really well. The Power Pro frays very fast and it's color fades really quickly. All I use now is the Cortland Master Braid and so many of my guests have switched to it too!!

5 lb. Braid is great for casting and durability. Haven’t had any issues and I’ve been using it for a few years now.
New line each year. Switch to the 8 lb. Braid as needed.
Like the the yellow and blue braid, they hold their color fairly well.

This is hands down the best lightweight braid I have ever used. I fish ultra light, throwing alot of spinners, and finnese type swimbaits, targeting various species of Trout, walleye, bass and crappie. This line is tops for sensitivity, and against abrasion.5 stars all day!$

Lays flat on spool, hollow so you can splice your fly line directly into backing for a seamless connection, and strong and durable. A great option if you are targeting larger pelagics on the fly. Cortland Master braid is the way to go

The only braid I now use.

Masterbraid is really good because of the small diameter allowing for more backing on the real and because its round so no pinching on the reel and no cut fingers on the hands. Best backing I have found to date.
