Poppers are irresistible to smaller bass and panfish. They imitate a variety of potential food sources including grasshoppers, frogs and wounded baitfish. Larger sizes for bass and predatory fish such as pike and musky. Fished on the surface with short strong strips to make the fly chug. Then let it sit for a few moments before moving again.

I'm sooooo disappointed given Cortland's reputation. What I ordered, is what is pictured above. Bass Poppers. What I received is the junk in the attached pictures. I'm not sure that I would ever order anything from Cortland again. What a shame.
Pictured are three hard/resin bodied frogs. What I received were three foam poppers that don’t right themselves. Love the trout line I got but supremely disappointing for my first order.
I've always had good luck with Cortland poppers.
